What Are We
Frassati Society-Philippines (FSp) is a community-based movement that aims to respond to the universal call to holiness, by centering their lives to Jesus in the Eucharist, Marian devotions, and mission works to the poor and those in need.
Frassati in Action
Is the social action group of Frassati Society Philippines in collaboration with the YFIA Movement. Our apostolate is focus on the youth with special needs. We center our mission works to the poor through the inspiration of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.
Our Mission Work
We offer catechism classes to the Basic Ecclesial Communities Areas and to public schools. Also, an extra mile to the out-of-school youth and the street children where we teach basic reading, writing and arithmetic.
COMMUNIO Core Group
We accomplish our dynamic ministry through several, weekly-meeting cell groups: focused communities of up to 10 members. Our society grows as each cell group invites and welcomes new members, then divides once the group begins to overflow—similar to our human cells. In this way, the interconnected cells can live the New Evangelization as Pope Benedict XVI defined it: “New evangelization must surrender to the mystery of the grain of mustard seed and not be so pretentious as to believe to immediately produce a large tree.”
Frassati members commit to imitating the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Taking to heart his words, “The higher we go, the better we shall hear the voice of Christ,” our ministry encourages prayer, study, and lively engagement with others and with the Church. Through this, we find and become the light of Christ.
If you are college-age, or young professional, we welcome you to join a communio core group and to attend Frassati Society events. (You do not have to join a cell group in order to attend events!)
